our mother's day tradition(s)

c and i have been trying to come up with our mother's day tradition(s). we definitely knew there would be pancakes for breakfast, but then we could not commit to anything else. since the boy has been a tad under the weather, we decided to not go hiking or anything really outdoorsy... we were going to just close ourselves in the house, but the more we thought about it, the more we did not want to regret not beginning our tradition(s) on our first mother's day. sooo, we debated over the peninsula or asbury woods. the peninsula won out... and along with the peninsula comes... sara's!!! we both had a peanut butter and hot fudge sundae :-)

next came dinner. what to have? i wanted to eat at home, but c wanted to eat out. so we compromised. sort of. we ordered steel city- c has been wanting her favorite sandwich from the deli in state college. it is this, imho, the most disgusting conglomerate of french fries, cole slaw, fried egg and meat. yuck. make that a double yuck!

sooo, it really was a magnificent day... pancakes, sundaes, peninsula and dinner... all with my little family :-) the universe certainly has blessed me :-)
