today you are 15 weeks old, my sweet! everyday is a brand new adventure with you... and this past week has been FULL of newness! from participating in your first 5k to eating avocado and cereal, to sleeping in your own room and sleeping 8 whole hours at a time, you are changing so much by the second!
you are loving watching the ceiling fans and sitting in your bumbo with a few rattles. you focus intently on whatever you are doing. you are quick to smile and babble your sweet baby babble. you also seem to have something in your mouth. all. the. time. your favorite items are your hands and your bibs. but a rattle or mommy's finger does the trick, as well. you also love love LOVE your gecko rainstick. and you love love LOVE mommy to keep turning it so that you can hear the sweet sounds that it creates :-)
size 3 diapers seem to be getting a little snug around your chunkasaurus thighs. you are now wearing 12-18 month clothes and 12-24 month socks. you are quite the growing boy! just this morning as i was bringing you downstairs, the snaps to your greenpeace onesie snapped. hard. adios, onesie!
i love every little nuance of you. you are such a fairy tale :-) and tomorrow you, mama c and i will stand before a judge and i will proclaim from the highest mountaintop how much i love you. and our journey shall begin and continue all at the same time.
