once upon a time, not too long ago, there lived a sweet baby boy named rhys oak (pieces, if you're nasty). pieces was such a delight! he would smile and laugh and coo and babble and sleep through the night. all you had to do was glance his way, and pieces would flash you his hysterical, mouth-wide-open smile.

then, one day, pieces rolled on over to the valley of drool. at first he had lots of fun stuffing everything into his mouth. he would spend his days playing and creating and laughing. and then it happened. pieces cut his first tooth! and life as we knew it was no longer...

we know that our sweet baby is still there... and we will continue to cuddle the boy until his hurties are no more...

overnight, our darling little charmer turned into a hurty hot mess. his poor wittle gums were hurty and he refused to allow his mommies out of his sight. if they left the room for a mere moment, pieces would screech at the top of his lungs and collapse into a howling babe. sleeping through the night became a distant memory, for, you see, pieces decided that it was a good idea to get up every single hour.

we know that our sweet baby is still there... and we will continue to cuddle the boy until his hurties are no more...
