today he must have been feeling better, because he was back to his chipper self, more or less. he also slept. alot. c gave him to me around 7:30-ish a.m., and he immediately fell back asleep. we did not come downstairs until 10:30-ish. can i get a what-what? it was delicious!!! i gave him his breakfast, i ate breakfast and then we played for a bit. next thing i knew, he was napping. i guess he must be paying us back for all of the lost sleep we missed during his "i-am-cutting-a-tooth-and-it-hurts-so-i-am-gonna-lose-my-mind" phase. also, he only screeched at the top of his lungs twice today when he couldn't see us. good deal! i loved that he was smiley and giggly today :-)

he did have a bit of a meltdown later on in the evening. for her work, c needs photos of kids in halloween costumes for a flyer to promote an indoor trick-or-treating event. well, it's august. but no worries, we bought pieces a costume last halloween, in anticipation for this halloween, and upon investigating said costume, there is no way the boy will fit into it in more than 2 months. sweet mother of pearl, we had to stuff him into it tonight to get pictures of him... and he was not having it. any of it. poor little guy.

so we took it off of him, gave him a bath, fed him his cereal and put him to bed.
welcome back, sweet boy... piece at last, peace at last ;-)
Hehe! My Mom had bought Dillon that same horsey outfit when he was a wee little laddie! (My mom has a thing for horseys.)
ReplyDeleteAlso enjoy this sweet little toothing repise. They tend to come in pairs.
OH that one goes in the wedding box. We're keeping all the embarrasing pics and videos, receipts for fathers day dinners a 3 month old can't afford, etc, and presenting them in public some day when she gets married. She'll KILL us LOL!
