a little bit of that 'n this...

today the boy "used" a sippy cup for the first time. the funny thing is that he wanted us to hold it for him... he seemed pretty tickled by the whole concept, even though i think it baffled him that he didn't need to suck the milk out...

this evening we met mama c at frontier park, where her workplace was sponsoring movie night, "in honor of children." we stayed a few hours, listened to music and watched all of the kids fly kites and blow bubbles, when it became apparent that it was time to get pieces home... like a half an hour ago... ;-)

finally, a friend of ours sent us a message on facebook asking us if we would be interested in helping to start up a mom's group for lbt families... SO exciting!!! so we told her absolutely, and we shall see where this may go :-)
