today you are 26 weeks old. yes, the whole, "you are 6 calendar months old as of yesterday, but 26 numbered weeks old today" thing kind of baffles me... but what i am certain of is my complete and unconditional love for you... even though you are trying to do that crazy growing up thing ;-)
at this very moment you are practicing getting ready to crawl. you are sharply focused on getting up on all fours, rocking back and forth, and sticking your leg out to try and move forward. you are this close , mr. chicken! go, chicken, go!!!
it is so hard to wrap my head around the fact that you are half a year old already! in such a short amount of time, you have completely changed our lives forever. you, wonderful you is what it's all about.
