celebrate erie!!!

tonight we went to our local celebratory festival. there was the usual carny food, along with different tastes from some of the "nicer" establishments around town. after carefully perusing the vendors, we decided on dessert first. c and i split a mini peanut butter pie... delish!!!

c's dad met up with us at that point, and we all decided to have dinner from the colony- c had langostinos and sweet potato fries and i had walleye bites and sweet potato fries. the boy had mum-mums :-)

we then decided to walk the p.b. pie off and oogled the sidewalk chalk creations up and down state street... pieces also contributed to a local radio station and got a chance to "spin" the wheel. he was so mesmerised that the v.j. spun it again for him :-)

pieces also got to fingerpaint for the first time. his sweet little blob of a handprint will be forever etched on the back right eye of of one of the leap frogs :-)
