joey swims!!!

on tuesday we finally got a taste of summer. this sparked an impromptu cookout and swim. my brother, jen and tim stopped on over and we had a grand time visiting with each other. before we moved, we would take joey b. hiking near a creek and to the beach and she would love to swim. we have not taken her anywhere this year yet, so we were feeling kind of badly for her, so we let her take a dip in the pool. she was funny. she would splash at the the edge of the pool with her paws, but wouldn't jump in. we could tell that she wanted to, but something was holding her back. everyone tried coaxing her... so, i jumped in, held my arms out to her, and in she jumped. she had a grand time! of course the other two dogs paid the whole swimming thing no mind, but joey really loved it!!!
