it has been 5 whole weeks since you came into the world! you are changing and growing so much!!! your sweet baby coos in the morning are an amazing way to wake up and greet the day! you love kicking your not-so-little feet and you get so excited about things that you can't contain yourself. you have discovered your tongue and you make yourself smile with the clicking noise that you make. when we ask you for a kiss, you lean your face toward us, mouth open, ready to oblige. you are such a good boy and we are so thankful for you!
this past week you have been going through a growth spurt. it's been pretty tough keeping up with you, but it looks like it's winding down (for now). you love a good shower and none of your 0-3 month jammies fit you anymore. you are almost out of size 1 diapers and you really enjoy lights and music and being outside. mommy and i had to run out and find some type of light/music apparatus that you would love, thus, the leap frog dreamscapes.
you are almost too long to width-wise in your pack n' play. you kick your blankets off and you can scoot yourself to the other side using your feet. you seem to enjoy playing, 'so big' and you are reaching for things before you. you have also discovered that you can grasp things... hair, glasses, whatever. and you. don't. let. go. it's okay, though... because you have forever grasped our hearts, and we will never let you go.
