c has cabin fever. tough. since it was so nice out today, we decided to go and purchase rhys' birth announcements and pick up a few groceries. the kid is a champ in the car. he was a little fussy when we strapped him into his car seat in the house, but as soon as we stepped outside, he was in the zone. we did not hear a peep out of him for the entire three hours that we were gone. so, note to self if/when all else fails, take the boy outside- it will do us all a world of good :-)since we got home from the hospital, c and i have been taking shifts with the boy. i get the graveyard shift, 11 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. tonight, unbeknowest to him, mr. oak boy is being started on a routine. jammies, feeding, story, diaper change, cuddle and then bed. we are all sleeping upstairs tonight. c and i will still take shifts for subsequent feedings and changes, and he will still be in the same room as us, but the time has come for us to try and get ourselves into a routine. lol, i know, naive are we ;-)
