the world, she is a'spinnin'!

have you ever had a time when you had so much going on, so much to say, that you just did not know where to begin? yeah. welcome to my world :-)

yesterday we had a family look at our house. they were here for about 40 minutes, and this afternoon, our agent called me and told me they wanted to do another walk-through today. and that they were getting their financing approved as we were speaking. and that they loved our house. and that their closing would probably take 2 months (great news!). and that they wanted the closing to take a few weeks (not great news!). and that they are motivated buyers because they sold their house and are now living with their parents. so, this afternoon, they did another walk-through to the tune of about an hour. i just got off the phone with our agent and he informed me that they are writing up an offer tomorrow afternoon. he also "warned" us that they wanted our appliances included. i'm kind of okay with that, except for the stove. you see, my grandfather "bought" the beautiful stainless stove for us. in actuality, my mom did, but she let dad believe that he did. he also told us they wanted our curtains and that they loved our decorating. ha, of course they did :-) sooo, we shall see what happens.

onto the fact that there aren't any houses on the market that we are interested in. this, my friends, means that we will be homeless. and did i mention that we have a baby due any day now? of course we could stay with georgia or c's dad, but it's just a bad time, with the baby and all. we want our alone time to bond with him in our own environment. but, i have to keep the big picture in mind. we are moving to find a house that makes better sense for our family. there is a house in the belle valley area that we truly love, except for the fact that it's in belle valley. even though it's millcreek, it's east millcreek, and we really really want the west side. once again, we shall see...

is this goodbye?

could this be hello?

which brings us to bamboozle. did i happen to mention that he is due any day now? cause he is. funny, my friend, sharky, predicted back when we first put our house on the market that we should not be surprised if we sell the week that c is due. way to prophetize, sharkness! i wonder if you'll be on target with his due date, too?!?! if so, i'm taking you on the road... move over, john edward and sylvia browne, there's a new psychic in town ;-)

now onto a smidge of humor, courtesy of my kindergarten friends. today, i had a little girl come up to me and exclaim the following:
"ms. h.! we got a new cage for our cat because she is going to get fixed cause my mom is sick of her always being horny!" nice.
scene 2: i was lining the kidlets up, and my strategy today was to have them answer a question before they could get into line. i posed the following question to another little girl: "what is the punctuation mark that is used when we say something loud or excitedly?" my little friend thought and thought, and finally responded, "an upside down i!" hehe. i love my kids!
final scene: we have been discussing bugs and verbs. i asked, "what bugs crawl?" a little boy raised his little hand and shouted, "a thousand-pede!" kids are for real funny. i am so going to miss my little characters while i am out, but i promised them that i would call and visit.

okay, off to house hunt... wish me luck :-)
