grrr!

5:15. midwife finally checked in on us. seems as though the dr. on duty, who is not even here, has overuled the midwife's decision to administer cervigel. so yeah. instead of c's cervix being given a chance to ripen, she has just bought herself another night in hotel hamot, complete with an iv drip. c is so mad because if it turns out that her fluid is even lower tomorrow, it looks like a c-section will be unavoidable.

in the a.m., c will be reevaluated to see if they will start the cervigel tomorrow, which will take at least 12 hours, then put on pitocin, and hopefully that all kick starts it all. if so, it looks like he will be here on wednesday, rather than tomorrow, had they done all of this today. frustrating. c will totally geek out if she has to have a c-section because her fluid is even lower tomorrow. but, at least the midwife is frustrated right along with us, and hopefully the new dr. on call tomorrow will get the ball a'rollin'. we shall see.
