planning a birthday

today was our weekly ob appt. it seems as though c is 50% effaced and just barely dilated. her fluid is an 8, and although it is above 5, it's not optimal. soooo, if this kid does not decide to make his grand appearance on his own this weekend, and if her fluid is lower on monday, it's off to the hospital we go. she does not want a c-section, so, if need be, she is going to be induced with a double whammy of cervagel and pitocin. she is not pleased, but is hopeful. she is right now enjoying her nightcap of red raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose :-)
