well, at this very moment, we are sitting in labor and delivery room 10, waiting for something (anything) to happen. at c's midwife appt. this morning, her fluid was barely a 5, so off to the hospital we were sent. beforehand, though, we went home, grabbed all 3 packed bags, pillows, laptop, phone chargers, money and cameras and the dogs. we barely got three blocks away when c realized that we forgot the champagne, which reminded me that we also forgot bamboozle's celebration cup, which triggered c's memory that we also forgot her reading material. sheesh. after gathering all of the 'necessities', we dropped joey off at grandpa's and mattie and penny off at grandma's. not knowing the fate of our delivery, c wanted a final meal (there is a 50% chance she will have to have a c-section, and they don't want you to eat if that's the route that has to be taken).

we got here around noon, and were under the impression that they would start off with cervigel, but all that has happened in the three and a half hours since we have been here is that they hooked c up to an iv. so now we wait some more. hopefully either the dr. or our midwife will soon come and shed some light on what is going on and/or what they expect will happen. but bamboozle is doing really well, c is in good spirits and i need a nap ;-)
