y all the time. so, in the weg.man's parking lot, c satiated the little piglet for a half an hour. then he promptly spit up on his shirt. so, she took it off of him and i held it in front of the air conditioner vent while she finished him up. it did not dry, so we ran home and i just grabbed another shirt, a single diaper and a pacifier. we changed him, and off we went. again. no, no i did not grab anything else, say, like a packed diaper bag. to be safe, c searched the car high and low for a burp cloth, blanket, whatever, and all she came up with was a pair of my workout socks. nice. they were clean, so we figured, 'why not?' the boy was not pleased. next time, no matter how long (or short) we will be gone, we will always have a diaper bag in tow.

Ah yes, I learned a similar - but worse - lesson a couple of weeks ago!
ReplyDeleteAlways be prepared! I once got a call from Jon...Dillon had a poop explosion. Jon was trapped in the bathroom at Steak & Shake...no diapers or change of clothes. I was already out of the house so I had to run into Target and buy a pair of pants and diapers. I still tease Jon about this. (FYI...Wegmans stocks their bathroom with diapers and wipes. Not the best quality but they work in a pinch. Also in the cafe they have bibs and such.)
