today you are 8 weeks old! that means that you have been on this earth for 56 whole days! i can’t remember what life was like before you, nor do i want to. you have brought such love and joy and happiness to so many people!
this past week has been a busy one! you are becoming acclimated to your new house quite nicely. you love staring out the windows and playing with your hands. you are enthralled with your little mitts! you don’t make a “regular” fist, but rather, the sign language sign for toilet. that explains a lot ;-) you also have the pincer grasp mastered. you are quite a mover and a shaker! we will lie you in one place, and the next thing we know, you aren’t there anymore!
you are so strong, love boy! everyone is so impressed by how big you are getting! you are almost out of size 2 diapers. you have the most brilliant smile. ever. sometimes we have to work for it because you can be quite serious, but when you share a smile with us, you light up the world!
even though I am not thrilled with it, you seem to be a morning person. you are so smiley and chipper first thing in the morning. you love to have conversations during the early morning hours, have breakfast and then a little catnap. when you wake up, we do some tummy time and chatting, lunch and another little siesta. you seem to really enjoy music. i have been playing jim brickman, and to much to my delight, you seem to share my love of his music :-)
