busy busy

it is a mere few moments before it is officially easter. c and i, aka the easter bunny's helpers, just finished rhys' basket. i'm not sure where we are going to hide it, however.

the past few days feel like they have taken forever. on friday we closed on both houses and began preparing for making our new house our home. we moved some stuff in and began taking down the wallpaper in the kitchen. today i primed and painted the guest room, c, her dad and georgia worked on the wallpaper some more and my brother and jen (bless their hearts) made a few runs to our storage unit and carried all of those boxes and bins to their proper places. we are exhausted! the appliances were also delivered today. tomorrow i will prime and paint what may be rhys' nursery, hopefully the rest of the wallpaper will be stripped (hate hate HATE wallpaper!) and we will try to organize some stuff. i may even get the kitchen painted! on monday three of our pods will be delivered so there will be lots o'unpacking, and the final two will be delivered on wednesday. c and i also have a meeting with our attorney concerning the adoption on monday, and c goes back to work on wednesday. whew!

rhys seems to enjoy his new home. he loves looking out the big windows. i so cannot wait until we are all settled!
