it's your birthday and you can cry if you want to!

sweet boy...

today you are six weeks old! six weeks ... you are growing like a wildflower! you have discovered how to bat at your mobile and you get so excited that your whole body jumps and wiggles! you have been putting yourself to sleep (with the help of the dreamscapes) and you love love LOVE car rides! you are getting so verbal and you are starting to grasp onto things (ie, hair, ears, etc.). you have graduated into size 2 diapers and you are wearing sizes 3-6 and 9 month clothes. we had to buy you new socks because your feet are getting so big! you have been going through a growth spurt, and sometimes you are a bit fussy, but it's okay, because we understand growing pains ;-)

today you discovered grandpa's skylight. you are mesmerized by lights and outdoors. you also enjoy dancing and being sung to. yesterday we introduced you to your lovey- a cross between a blanket and a rattle... you loved it! we would shake him so that you could hear him, and then he would give you a kiss. you would smile everytime! and what a magnificent smile you have! it brightens the whole world!

mommy and i have been working very hard to get you your new house, and finally, on (good) friday, you will have your new home. we can't wait to continue watching you grow, sweet pieces. you are a wonderment.
