mason farms

after c picked the kids up from daycare, we decided to pay a visit to mason farms. on the car ride there, we told rhys that we were going to get some apple cider, and he promptly said, "i'm a'gonna drink a'some apple cider and eat doughnuts!" the kid had apple cider once, and, of course we had doughnuts with it, so he now apparently associates cider with doughnuts.

at mason farms, the first thing that he laid eyes on were the bouncy houses. of course. so we had to hurry our way through the displays and gourd choosing because the kid had bouncy houses on the brain. he went in one, but there were so many bigger kids in it, that he didn't enjoy himself, and his mind once again wandered to visions of cider and doughnuts... until the funhouse air machine scared the poor kid to tears. then, the only thing that could make him feel better was m&m's.

lync and quinn took the whole trip pretty much in stride. except when lynci was put down she decided to, you know, cry. and, on the car ride home, the screaming symphony sisters put on quite a show.

when we got home, we dinnered on spaghetti squash and turkey meatballs... with pumpkin roll and cider for dessert :-)

i love sharing this time of year with them... actually, i love sharing every time of year with them <3
