halloween is almost here. do you know what that means? it means that thanksgiving is right around the corner, and then... CHRISTMAS!!! christmas is coming, people!!! i think that we are even more excited about it this year (is that even possible?!) because our sweet girlies will be home to celebrate with us. it's so strange that this is actually going to be their SECOND christmas! i'm a wee bit sad that they never had any 'my first christmas' clothes. i'm sure that maybe we got them a bib or something and hung it in their cubicle... i can't really remember, because, you know, we were all scared because they were still fetuses and all.
anywho, even though there may not be any 'my first christmas' jammies and onesies and bibs, oh my, by golly THERE WILL BE PICTURES!!! and lots of 'em!!! as much as i am grateful for their first christmas photos, courtesy of sweetie-pie nurse kelly, they weren't very pretty. yes, i know that they were donning their MINI build-a-bear christmas dresses, but lync had just extubated herself, and, i may have already mentioned this before, THEY WERE FETUSES!!!
this year, however, we are gonna go even more photo happy than in years past (again, is this even possible?!). last year, we ordered our holiday cards from shutterfly. i was a bit nervous, because after all, these were our christmas cards. would they be in on time? would they look cheap? if we didn't like them, would we have time to write other cards out? and then, they came in. i can't remember the turnover time, but it wasn't very long... and, i gotta tell ya- they were BEAUTIFUL! they were very thick- cardstock, not just photo paper. the photos were amazing! we were hooked to online photo ordering!
truth be told, it was tough choosing our cards! shutterfly has some seriously lovely cards to peruse through! this year, my favorites include: the holiday ribbon frame, words of wonder and mod love... c and i are still going through the pages and pages of designs and marking our favs :-)
shutterly also has address labels and photo books and other giftie ideas! don't believe me? check 'em out yourself:

my email address is serendipitysc713@aol.com. in the subject line, please write SHUTTERFLY BLOG. the question is: what is my favorite holiday? hint #1: no, it's not easter, st. patty's day, halloween, my birthday (although i firmly believe that it should be a national holiday) or thanksgiving. hint #2: it's a winter holiday. hint #3: this is not our girl's first of this holiday, it's actually their second...
ready, set GO!
Hmmm. Could it be Christmas? You are too cute, Sheela, Beela, Onamonopia!
