trick or treat!!!

this evening we took the chicken out trick-or-treating... not really expecting much, but because we thought that it would be way cute. were were wrong and right- he was way cute and he LOVED it! he was a man on a mission as he motored on up to each house, bellowed "trick-or-treat!", put his treat into his bucket and plowed on down the walkway to the next house while mumbling, "knock, knock!"

we had anticipated on only going up the block and then back home to hand out treats, but he was really into the whole experience! we were out for about 45 minutes (hit about 20 houses), and then ushered our little dj lance chicken rock home to hand out treats to the little ghouls and goblins. chicken was not thrilled about going inside, but then he began his fabulous new game of dumping his candy out of the bucket, loading it into his dumptruck, putting in back into his bucket and doing it all over again.

what a fun halloween evening we had!
