coldest day o'the year

brrr! today the thermostat hit a low of a frosty -6 degrees (wind chill of -25!). three of my kiddos showed up for school, and i was actually quite surprised i had that many. i mean, it wasn't snowing and blowing, nor were the roads particularly bad, but, IT WAS -6 DEGREES!!!

speaking of chilly weather, trying to predict what the weather will be like when bamboozle is born is kind of touch and go. the past few valentine's days have been way cold and snowy, and r is due a mere week and 2 days after v-day... so, it's a good thing that c picked up this sweet little snowsuit...

here is bamboozle all tucked away and warm on this bitter cold evening.
