first of all, she footprinted the girls. at 48 days old, they finally got their sweet little feets printed :-)

then, both girls got their baths and i got to snuggle with each one during their feeds. quinn's oral tube was replaced with a nasal tube, and lyncoln's will be replaced at her next feeding :-)

during quinn's bath, she was totally wireless! as in no wires and no tape on her face and no nasal cannula! she was a rockstar breathing ALL BY HERSELF for the entire bath, weighing and footprinting! when she was hooked back up, her o2 sats were still at a 96 :-) i so loved stroking her cheeks and playing with her developing double chin sans tape and tubes and wires :-)

i think that the girls have a little game going on. earlier in the week, we had predicted that they would hit their weight milestones this weekend. well, today, lyncoln weighed in at 2lbs15.5oz... a mere HALF AN OUNCE away from 3 pounds! and quinn weighed in at 3lbs15oz- one ounce away from 4lbs! so, perhaps tomorrow, as we clebrate their 7-week birthday, we shall also be clebrating their weight milestones!!! however, we got to dub today "birthweight double day times two"! today, both girls officially doubled their birthweights :-)
when c visited a little later on, super-meghan decided to give the girls some sister bonding time :-) at first they were unsure of the whole thing, but they quickly settled into each other, and, quinn, with her love of all things booger, began to suck on lyncoln's nose :-)

i am so in awe of our girls. they truly are miraculous... and the magic that our nurses do is simply beyond words...
I haven't been commenting much, but I'm reading all your updates, and I'm so glad to hear that the girls are doing well. And how sweet are thy together!? Even the one where Lyncoln is pushing Quinn away is adorable. It's like a sneak preview of the BIG little girls they will be before you know it!
