fa la la la la...

this morning i woke up to our yard covered in a light blanket of snow. it was absolutely beautiful- picturesque, if you will. the only bad thing was that i had to go to school, so, as i was getting ready, i attempted to start my car with my remote. three times. nothing. hmmm... i didn't really give it much thought until i tried again after school. nothing again. so i tried starting it while i was standing right next to my car. the lights were blinking, but there was absolutely no sound of the starter trying to turn over. ugh. the only thing i can think of is that it wasn't hooked back up correctly when i recently had work done to my car. a lot of work. lots of money worth of work. ugh again.

on a bright and shiny note, today is the first of december, which means that we began playing elf-hide-and-seek. our little elf, tick-tock-banana-rock-my-sweet-potato-pie, or, tick-tock if you're nasty, hides everyday and chicken seeks him. today that sneaky little tick-tock was hiding on the window sill by the tree... but the stealth chicken spotted him, corralled him and kissed him! i wonder where that fiesty little fella will hide tomorrow? no worries, though. i am sure that chicken, p.i. will be able to find him quite easily!

today we also began our countdown to christmas calendar. chicken loves that the little pendant is a star that we place in each pocket. he helped count, and then i put the star into it's designated place.

c and i are wrapping this wonderful evening up by watching the 'grinch.' i love this time of year!!!
