i have been eyeing up the jumpsmart trampoline for chicken for awhile... and, at one point, i actually almost placed an order for it, but was disappointed that site to store wasn't offered, and i wasn't thrilled with what they wanted to charge for shipping, so i didn't follow through with the purchase. well, ever since then, i have been casually looking online to see if free shipping was offered, but it never was. then, i saw that one place was offering free shipping, but the price of the trampoline was $30 more than the initial place, but i know, that with the twins coming, the chicken is going to need an outlet to burn some of his energy indoors, so i
almost ordered it. and then, it happened. sunday's paper showed my beloved trampoline on sale for $59.99 with free shipping! EUREEKA! i was psyched! but i knew that we were done shopping for the chicken for the next five christmas' and birthdays, but there it was... FREE SHIPPING!!! and the lowest price i have seen yet. sooo, if you have ever seen 'a christmas story', when ralphie strategically placed ad for his red ryder bb gun in his parent's magazines in the hopes that they would see them and get the hint, i strategically placed the ad on the laptop for c to see in the hopes that she would tell me to order it. well, she saw it, commented on it, and that was it. well, what she didn't know, was that i had already ordered it as soon as i saw the ad that morning. i just could not resist, and i know that she will be thanking me once the duo arrive and he needs an extra outlet for all of his energy!

on a totally different, but super exciting note, tonight, as i was getting chicken ready for his bath, i asked him if he had to go potty. he sat on the potty, so i took his pants and diaper off, placed him back on the potty, then he sat there, got up, looked in the potty and clapped. when i looked in the potty, i saw that he had went #1, and a grand celebration ensued. mommy came rushing in and we did potty dances, claps and high fives! we have not officially begun potty training him, but we do talk about it when we are going to the restroom and when we change his diaper. he sits on his potty while we are in there, but that's just about the extent of it. this does not mean that we are going to push him, but we will be more cognizant of his signs :-)
so from potties to trampolines, it has been a very wonderful two days :-)
Logan has also started to ask to go potty. He has yet to produce anything but we are hopeful he will take to it quickly. He loves to do everything (and I mean everything) Dillon does. He is "monkey see, monkey do" on a 5 second delay. BTW I LOVE having a potty trained child even if he does sometimes get distracted and turn around mid-stream!
