joining the ranks...

today was mr. pieces' first day at daycare. c and i have been dreading this day for awhile now. i'm glad that i don't have drop-off duty... but c seemed to handle it well. i spoke to her immediately after she dropped him off. he seemed to take to it pretty well; he was interested in playing :-)


around lunchtime, c popped in to check on him. he was enjoying a meal and basically seemed pretty jolly... until pick-up time...

i was supposed to pick rhys up, but a very long staff meeting impeded my ability to do so... so, c picked him up and the news she received was that he was pretty much inconsolable since lunchtime :-( poor guy. she thinks that maybe if she stays away, maybe he will do better... so we shall see.
