today you are 27 weeks old! we are thinking that you are just getting over a growth spurt, because you have been a bit of a cranky chicken for a little over a week... and today you seemed to be your usual happy self (welcome back!!!).
you are sooooo close to crawling, chicken. once you coordinate the moving motions, you will be off... but for now, it is very entertaining watching you try to figure things out :-) also, you seemed to have mastered a few yoga poses, especially the downward facing dog... with your hands on the floor and arms stretched out, you go from your knees to your feet... i haven't been quick enough to get a picture... yet ;-)
you are also now a master at sitting unassisted... so much so that you can get to a sitting position from lying down. you are such a strong little boy :-)
mama c and i have been sorting through all of your clothes that are too small... and suddenly there are alot!!! your summer jammies no longer fit you, nor do many of your outfits. you are getting sooo big!!!
it's so hard to be away from you while i am at work. even though i know that uncle j is taking amazing care of you, i miss watching you grow during the day. but when i get home in the afternoon, i love being greeted by your big sweet smile :-)
you are love, dear chicken... pure love.
