flyin' the friendly skies...

my heart is breaking. a mere 2 hours ago, i handed mr. pieces over to c and they boarded an airplane... i am happy that they are going to visit family, but i miss them so already... and when they return on monday, it is only the very next day that mr. pieces starts daycare. i am a wreck :-(

on the bright side, yesterday we had a "meet pieces' room and teachers" day. we spent a little bit of time in the room, visiting with pieces' future friends. the boy was fine- dove right into playing... it's c and i who are going to be the messes. i must admit, however, that she has it worse than i do... she drops him off in the a.m., and i pick him up after school. sigh.

while they are gone, it is my job to label his daycare things and get them in order.

i miss them already...
