first, miss lyncoln decided that she had had enough of her ng tube. so she pulled it out. and it hasn't been put back in! she is doing a fabulous job eating all by her lonesome!
not to be outdone by her little older sister, quinn 'took' her tube out later that day. she, too, is doing well... a little slower at eating than lyncoln, but she gets 'er done!
it's so nice to be able to see both of their pretty faces :-)
lynci also hit her 5 pound milestone yesterday! at tonight's weigh-in, lynci weighed 5lbs1oz and quinn weighed 6lbs8oz.
the countdown has begun...
My my my, they really are looking so much alike. Congrats girls on both passing the magic 5 lb. number!

ReplyDeleteAre they test driving the carseats? Peeper had to do a car seat test before she could come home, but at our hospital, the cut-off for that was five pounds. So your "big girls" would be exempt.
But, do they have to do it anyway because of their prematurity.
Or is it just practice?
Whatever the reason, I'm thinking carseats in the NICU must be a good sign!
