quinnie's home! take 2.

after a weekend of antibiotics and tests, the quinnster was discharged lastnight. it is so wonderful having her home in our arms again, but we are definitely missing her 'sisser.' this is the first time that they have been apart :-(



as for lynci, she will probably be in the nicu for another week or so. there is still fluid in the upper left quadrant of her lungs, but all of her tests and cultures are coming back negative; so, i am thinking that the 'diagnosis' will be aspiration pneumonia... but, the good news is is that she is off of oxygen and she is taking most of her feeds by mouth. she sounds really raspy, and we are pretty sure that her throat is hurty (obviously), but lastnight, when we went to pick up quinn, lynci was all bright-eyed and bushy tailed. it was lovely seeing her (almost) back to her normal spunky self.
