when we went to visit the girlies after work today, we knew to expect results from quinn's third eye check. what we did not know was that both girls also had another head sono done today. there was wonderful news all around! the duo's brains are still looking great and quinn's eyes have not changed!!! this is such amazing news!
as far as each girl's individual good news...
miss quinn is now up to 5 pounds!!! she is doing an award-winning job in her open isolette and breathing all on her own!
miss lyncoln is breathing room air! her sweet 'n sneaky nurse, megan, is keeping her cannula on her face to "trick" her into believing that she is getting assistance, but our strong girl is breathing all. by. herself!!! also, if she keeps her temp regulated until tomorrow around 3-ish, lyncoln will be joining the open isolette club!!!
this is truly a valentine's day to remember!!!
Oh my goodness, 5 pounds! Congratulations Quinn! All room air, good test results - such great news! What is Lyncoln's weight these days?
