groundpiggy day.

on this snowy groundhog day, 2011, miss quinn chugged down half an ounce of bm from A BOTTLE for the very first time :-) both girls have been rooting like madwomen for the past few weeks, but quinn has been insistent. like for real getting-mad-and-screaming-while-trying-to-suck-on-her-hands insistent. so, her very wise and amazing nurse kelly, decided that it. was. time.

at first quinn was like, 'what the heck?! stuff never came out of my binkie before!?!?' but she quickly got the hang of things. i guess she didn't choke or gag or anything. she did, however, get tired, thus only taking down a bit more than half of her feeding from a bottle. kelly, the picture princess, caught the event in photos for us :-)

punxsatawney phil predicted spring to be right around the corner... which is wonderful... because that's when we'll be bringing our girlies home :-)
