pizza & cake, oh my!

it all started on thursday- the boy's actual birthday. we had pizza delivered to his class to celebrate the chicken turning two, because, let's face it- pizza is the kid's only known food group. well, unless you count cookies. and, after this weekend, birthday cake.

after visiting with the bits, we picked the chicken up and took him to chuck e. cheese... where we ate pizza. and cake, of course.



on friday, i can't recall what we ate for dinner, but i do know that we ate cake that evening.

saturday was the chicken's 'big' birthday party at jumping jungle with his friends. there was pizza and cake to be had! lots of pizza and cake. so much pizza and cake, that we had it for dinner that evening and breakfast and lunch today.






today was the birthday celebration with my family. i'll give you a hug if you can guess what we had... yep, yep... pizza and cake! however, we were kind of smart this time around... we threw subs and wings into the mix ;-)



it's a good thing that the pizza and cakes that we got were pretty darn tasty. well, except for the chuck e. cheese varieties.

it really was a fun weekend... but i can assure you that it will be quite awhile before we feast on pizza again. the cake, however, may need to be sampled again ;-)
