today you are 42 weeks old!!! we have had a few ups and downs this past week...
at your dr.'s appointment yesterday, it became clear that your ear infections aren't clearing up, which may be the reason behind your lack of sleeping and sometimes cranky mood. sooo, the good dr. referred you to a specialist, and you go and see him on thursday. it kinda looks like tubes may be in your near future. mama c and i aren;\'t thrilled about this, but we know that your wittle ears are bothering you and we want to make it all better...
and the BIG news... drum roll, please... today you started "walking"!!! granted, you are using a push walker, but you are plowing through the house like nobody's business! we thought for sure that you would experience a few face plants when you started using the walker, but nope, you were up and away on your first try. you were so very proud of yourself! i tried to videotape it with my droid (droid and i have a love-hate relationship... i usually love it, except i don't love that it doesn't have a light when videotaping, and, if it does, i have no idea how to access it), and i got the gist of you walking, i just wish that it would have caught the glow and determination on your face :-)
mama c also has decided that it would be amusing to teach you to say, "uh-oh" everytime you drop something. i am sure that this is a preface to good times ahead... ;-)
