easter

it's not even 9:30 a.m., and I'm exhausted! the trio blessed us with "sleeping in" until 7:15... but then it was on!

the bunny hid eggs in each of their rooms in hopes that it would tide them over until the momma's went potty and let the dogs out. wishful thinking. they tore through their eggs like it was their j.o.b.! c corralled the kidlets in rhys' room until I was coherent enough to grab the camera and get ready for the ruckus that was about to ensue.

and they're off!

mommy & mama's breakfast... until rhys tasted it, and then he polished it off!

 



 after all of the eggs and baskets were found, and breakfast was eaten, we cleaned up, and I began prepping my dinner work station... all to prepare for round 2 of easter 2015...



 

around lunchtime, we loaded the trio into the car, and went to grammy's. the reason our kids got two pieces of chocolate from us is because grammy and sass were extremely generous with the chocolate. and by extremely generous, I mean, does anyone want/need/desire any chocolate?!?! we ate lunch, came home, showered, and attempted naps. the only folks who actually slept were c, quinn and pennywenny.

 

 

 

after naptime, I began cooking dinner. we had thanksgiving dinner waffles (stuffing waffle, topped with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy... and cranberry sauce, if you so desire). it doesn't sound delicious, but trust me, they are amazing! dessert was pineapple dream pie and creamy lemon pie. c's dad and aunt came over for dinner and occupied the trio with crafts and games...

 

 

 

 

 

 

it really was a fantastic day!
