actual birthday birthday party!

today, to celebrate the girls' birthday, we were pretty low key. they had nonuts (timbit doughnuts) for breakfast, went to visit the nicu with their basket of fun that was so generously given by family and friends, took the nicu some birthday bagels, had a pizza party at daycare, came home to a mac 'n cheese and nugget dinner, blew out their candles on their brownie cakes made by mommy, ate said brownie cakes, bathed, and opened presents. by the time presents rolled around, it was already 1/2 hour past their bedtime, so all lu wanted to do was snuggle... until she opened her princess garb! quinnie, on the other hand, was definitely into the whole gift opening thing! bedtime be darned!
