adios, summer vacation!

well, as of yesterday, another summer has officially ended (for me), and i went back to school. sigh. i'm not gonna lie... i'm going to miss my lazy summer days. a lot. a whole lot.

the last sweet days of summer vacation found us painting and reading and playing and braiding and dentisting and festivaling and hiking and dancing. my new reality is throwing together ingredients into the crockpot and practicing what pinterest preaches.





















i really do think that i am too pretty to have to work, but work i must, so i'm going to make the best of it and set my sights on my favorite season, which is knock-knock-knocking on our door. of course, my eyes are bleeding from combing fall ideas from pinterest, but it will all be worth it when the time comes to make the pumpkin rice krispy treats!
