spring!

to celebrate the first day of spring, our plan was to "p" it: picnic, peninsula, playground, plant. well, i guess that we forgot, that, with three kids, things take much longer than with one... and, if we don't hit the girls' 6:30 bedtime, we. are. in. trouble.

c picked the kids up after work, and i called our dinner into the co-op and packed beverages and hummus and jackets and sneakers. we swung by and picked up our picnic, and decided that the peninsula playground would probably be too busy on such a beautiful day, so we went to asbury playground, instead. adios, peninsula p.






i thought for sure that quinnie would be uneasy on the swings and that daredevil lync would rule the playground, but it turned out that quinnie immediately loved the swings, and lynci was unsure at first. for all of about 3 seconds... and then she was laughing and squealing with delight!

















because we were having so much fun, we ran out of time to begin our planting. adios, planting p. that will have to wait until tomorrow!
