one year ago...

one year ago we spent our last evening as a threesome at home... the girls were having their glamour graduation photos done in the nicu by our sweet nurses meghan and megan, for tomorrow we mark the one year anniversary of their homecoming after spending 13 weeks in the nicu! run-on sentence, yes, i know, but after the weekend we have had, i am entitled to such luxuries!

to celebrate, the girlies have graduated from their infant seats to their big girl car seats!




speaking of weekend, yesterday we took a day trip to the cleveland zoo. we hiked the entire hilly thang, with one, two and sometimes three kidlets on our person. okay, really c did most of the baby-hauling gruntwork, but i did snap a few pics!













after the zoo, we went to trader joe's, one of my very favorite places, and our young brood decided that they wanted to make our time there anything but enjoyable! there were 10 hands tossing stuff into carts willy nilly, 6 hands tossing stuff out of carts will nilly, 4 hands handing graham crackers to the other 6 hands, 4 hands tossing graham crackers out of their hands and three young voices screaming at the top of their lungs in unison. not pleasant. the check out folks were so happy to see us go that they gave us a free cooler bag (we take our own, but we bought so much stuff that it didn't all fit).

today, we did a bit of shopping... and did our best to hold everyone together. it seems as though daylight savings time is reeking havoc on our wee one's biological clocks, thus reeking havoc on our daily living.

tomorrow is a new day... a day of celebration, as is every single day.
