pi day

as if we needed another reason to celebrate pi(e) day (i know, i know), we got one... today, lyncoln and quinn were officially discharged from early intervention!!! it was a bittersweet day- of course i am over the moon excited that our girls are doing so phenomenally well, but i am sad that one of the reasons that they are doing so well will no longer be a part of their weekly schedule.

we owe a lot of people a lot of love for all that they have carried our family through... from the nicu staff, our ob, our families and friends, daycare teachers, complete strangers, and the girls' ot, ann. if you ever wanted to meet a true miracle worker, it would be ann.

there are people in this world whose light shines so beautifully bright, and ann is one of them. everyone who knows her, loves her. when folks would ask who the girls' therapist was, we proudly told them, and they would sport a goofy smile and tell us about their adoration for ann. we were lucky to have her.
