hippity-hop...

the past few days have found us with a rhysie cup who has been under the weather. the little hot head fluctuated between being cool as a cucumber and sporting a 102.4 temp. lastnight, we figured that it was time... c took the boy to the er. after motrin and running a bunch of tests, everything came back normal. they told c that if his fever spiked again, to bring him back. he probably had the flu, we are guessing.




when they got home, rhys showed me his battle wounds- "mama! i jumped and screamed, so they had to do it again." poor boy- getting blood drawn is no fun. they also wanted a urine sample, so, somehow c got him to "make a waterfall in the cup." it worked!

this morning i awoke to him screeching and running around, so i knew that he must be feeling better. he's still not 100%, but after the past few days, i'll take 75%.

even though the weather is cool and rainy, we had things to accomplish. first, we went and got a sign for our front yard to show our support for asbury woods, then we went to the maple taste and tour (because is was raining, quinn and i ran in and bought a bunch of syrup and syrup products), and finished up at the mall to have a picture taken with the easter bunny himself.




tomorrow shall definitely be a day of rest!
