adios to my coolness

ok, a dodge stratus isn't at all cool, but, in my head, my next vehicle- a soft top jeep wrangler was way cool. the thing is, having three kids 2 and under does not lend itself to a sweet little jeep wrangler. no, folks, the search for a three row vehicle was on. the only thing is that to actually access the third row in most vehicles is a complete hassle... except for *cough, gag* a minivan.

i swore that i would never ever cross over to the minivan darkside, but, after shoving two of our three children into the stratus, i knew what i had to do. after each test drive, my heart broke a little. all our kids would know for the first years of their lives would be minivans. sigh.

after not a whole lot of searching, but a lot of researching, we found fiona. we test drove her, compared her to comparable minivans in our area, negotiated a sweet deal, and drove her off the lot yesterday.

on the eve of fiona's homecoming, i was driving around at midnight, blaring cat stevens, reliving the good ol'days. i. am. pathetic.

goodbye, sweet stratus, you have served us well... hello, fiona, there is quite an adventure in store for you:
