beach!!!

on mother's day, we took chicken to the beach. the weather was a bit chilly, and chicken was not at all fond of being barefoot in the sand. knowing that our myrtle beach vacation is coming up, we figured that we had better start reacquainting him to the wonders of being barefoot on the beach.

as expected, he was not happy when we plopped him down. but, we did our best to get him to laugh, and he began to walk around, and, dare i say it, enjoy himself. i think that we still have a way to go, but today was a promising start :-)
