now that our little ladies are sitting up all by their lonesome for pretty long periods of time, rhys has started to take more of an interest in them. okay, maybe he is really interested in his old toys, but it's sweet to watch, nonetheless :-)

yesterday, the girls had their 9 month WELL baby visits :-) lynci weighed 15lbs2oz, and quinnie weighed 16lbs3oz... lync is in the 50th percentile for her adjusted age, and quinnie is in the 75th percentile :-) they are doing so well that their pedi wants to take them off of neosure and start them on "regular" formula. i'm not sure how i feel about this. on one hand, i am so very proud of them, but i'm not so sure that it's time to switch. i thought that they would be on the neosure for at least their first year.
poor quinnie also has an ear infection. i thought for sure that lynci had one- she has been CRANKY and has been batting at her left ear. nope, it's quinn who has it- and she has been acting just fine... better than fine- barely any drama from our little drama quinn. we are on day 2 of her antibiotic, and i really hope that she is starting to feel better!
finally, we are feeding the girls solids twice a day now. they are not very fond of it. usually the first bite or two is accompanied by a gag, but each day gets a wee bit better. hopefully it will be enjoyable for them very soon... because then, it will be more enjoyable for us, as well.
hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend... we have lots of fun to partake in... the pumpkin farm, the nicu reunion and our favorite gal pal duo is LEGALLY getting married :-) i can't wait :-)
Wow, that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHappy 75% of a year birthday, girlies ;-)
