four years ago today, we said "i do" in the secret garden of the angel ladies in niagara on the lake. we were like giddy, nervous schoolgirls as we went to get our marriage license, and, upon realization that we only had american money, we were directed across the street to trade it in for canadian currency.
after about an hour, marriage license in hand, we arrived at the angel ladies' cottage and asked them to unite us in holy matrimony ;-)
we stood before each other, barefoot and barely breathing, and promised to love one another forever and ever... and, here we are, four years and three babies later, keeping that promise each and every day.
i'd run off to another country to marry you any day ;-)
