where the wind takes us...

initially our plans were to go see 'yo gabba gabba' live in lewiston and shop the niagara falls outlets on friday, and cross the border to go to marineland and see the falls on saturday. well, the weather forecast called for scattered showers, and chicken was sick, so we weren't sure if we should chance it. sooooo, instead we stayed in buffalo, and went to the zoo. it was a perfect choice! the weather was crisp and cool and sunny, and chicken LOVED the zoo- especially the hands-on section where he could pet a giggy-giggy (pig), horsie, and play on a plow and pretend to muck hay and collect eggs from hens.

of course his favorite sights were, in this order: FISH! snakes. frogs. as we were marvelling at the gorillas, chicken proceeded to get up from his stroller, and march right over to the fish. he would have been happily content just to stay and watch the fish the entire time.

i love that he meets and crosses all that is stereotypically "all boy". he loves music and the outdoors. i am not fond of snakes (scared to DEATH of 'em), but am happy that he doesn't seem to share my fear. he adores climbing and building with blocks and vroom-vrooming his cars all over the place, but he also equally really enjoys feeding his beebee and cooking up a pot of soup in his play kitchen. his favorite yo gabba gabba character is the very frilly and very PINK foofa.

and we love that about him.
