when both alarms went off this morning, c went and got the chicken up. we thought that he might be cranky from being woken up before he was ready, but he jovially proved us wrong. he was his usual morning chatterbox as we got ourselves and him ready.
at the airport, he walked around clucking and grinning ear-to-ear. he definitely got his morning disposition from c.
it was so tough to say goodbye to them. a few tears were shed, and i headed home. i had planned on working out this morning, but i opted to sleep instead. wrong choice! it was so hard to get out of bed for the second time this morning!
they made it to nc safe and sound... and, although i am going to enjoy sleeping in this weekend, i can't wait until they are back home again :-)
