8 calendar months!!!

dearest chicken,

today you are 8 calendar months old :-)

you celebrated by eating cheesy poofs and cracking your head into the coffee table. again. yes, it's pretty much a daily event and, in my humble opinion, it's getting pretty old, so please stop doing it ;-)

you are the funniest kid. ever. we love listening to you screech, i mean sing, at the top of your lungs... well anytime, except 3 a.m. we have to keep reminding you that chickens do not need to get up at oh dark thirty and cock-a-doodle-do to awaken the world... but you have yet to listen to us. you have stared to "dance" when you are listening to music. this is especially funny when you kick your little feets up and stomp down.

you have an intense curiosity for the world around you. we promise that we will do our best to help you use your talents to help the earth and to be kind to everyone and everything around you.
