after the eggs were found, it was time to seek the baskets, and surprise, surprise, lu found hers first! rhys was next in line (with hints), followed by quinnie. the kids attacked their goodies, before we turned them loose on their bunny cinnamon roll and yogurt breakfast.
after a bit more playing and lunch, i was thanking my lucky easter eggs that it was naptime. except, just because the clock says it's time to nap, doesn't necessarily mean that napping actually takes place! so we got the kids up and dressed, and headed to my mom's house, where the mother of all chocolate dreams awaited them!
the kids received their gifts, which they loved, but then lyncoln decided that her favorite game was to swipe whatever her sister was playing with, and then run off laughing like a loon, as quinnie ran after her screaming at the top of her two-year-old lungs. somehow, sometime between the kid chases, we shovelled some food into their mouths, before they decided that all they wanted to eat was m&m's, and grammy happily obliged, by feeding them three times their weight in candy.
after a bit more visiting, we packed up, headed home, bathed and jammied up, and plopped our trio of bunnies into bed.
it certainly was a sweet day :)
